About Preeti
Preeti’s background is in fashion and textile management. She attended college for fashion management and paved her way to work with NGO's in India that specialized in handcrafted artifacts and home decor. She educated the artisans with color trends, design layouts, and marketable aesthetics while maintaining their renowned craft. Moving to the US, she found her niche in visual merchandise/window presentations and worked for companies implementing and styling store / window displays. It was only recently that she felt the urge to go back to creating something she could truly call her own.
Fondly remembering her days working with NGOs, she decided to pursue the channel of creative art through the medium of surface pattern design, and thus started “BY WHITE PEACOCK.”
By WHITE PEACOCK is a true women owned brand, thrives to showcase design patterns that highlight aspects of beauty found in unexpected places and transform them in our everyday life to connect to a wider audience. Mixing modern with traditional features in her designs, Preeti gives a tribute to the rich Indian cultural heritage that resonates with her on a personal level, while capturing the audience attention.
